"Cold Weapon"-Laparoscopic Instrument Electric Hook

Release time: 31 Aug 2021    Author:Shrek

Various types of weapons-hooks, hooks are a kind of multi-edged weapons, evolved from ancient weapons. Ge, hook and halberd were used together during the Spring and Autumn Period and the Warring States Period. Judging from the copper hooks unearthed in Wei Tomb, the shape of the hook resembles a halberd, except that the upper side of the halberd is a sharp blade, and the upper side of the hook is a linear hook shape, hence the name hook.

Electrocoagulation hooks are commonly used electrical cutting and coagulation consumables in endoscopic surgery. They are used for tissue separation, hemostasis, cutting, freeing, etc., and it has good operational stability and safety. The hook rod of the existing electrocoagulation hook is usually a straight rod structure, the hook rod is inserted into the hook base, and the doctor directly holds the hook base for operation.
Scope of application: laparoscopic system, thoracoscopic system, gynecological system, urological system endoscopes, etc. Are used for endoscopic surgery.

Use the bluntness of the hook to push open the adhesions between the tissues to create a free plane, just like gently pushing a window open.
Contusion hook:
It is required to "shoot like a contusion, and return like a hook". The so-called "contusion" rolls forward from top to bottom. The so-called "hook", grabbing from top to bottom, actually walks in circles.
Lifting hook:
It is like a lone army going deep, and then retreating all over, also known as "upside down golden hook".
Palladium hook:
The hook end is facing down, like a rake, which can help to open the tissue.
Row hook:
Pay attention to the word "row", keep the tension of the tissue, use the hook back on the surface, and cut the membranous tissue.
Tear hook:
With both hands, use the current and blunt force of the hook between the tissue gaps to tear apart the filamentous structure. Don't do it too quickly or too deeply!
Support hook:
Using the hook back to separate while holding up the tissue is also a method of blunt and sharp combination and separation.
Split hook:
The original intention is to separate the two hooks. Here, the extension means that the back of the hook is bluntly separated, and then cut again.
Hold hook:
Hold the tissues for easy grasping with left-hand forceps or assistant forceps.

Precautions:
Coagulation hooks are the most frequently used equipment and suffer serious wear and tear. The white part of the polyethylene material at the tip is often exposed to excessive metal parts due to high-temperature electrocautery during surgery and the unavoidable abrasion of the metal part L during disinfection and cleaning. It should be checked and reported for replacement in time.
